Montammy Golf Club in Alpine is scheduled to host the sixth annual "FORE the Kids" Golf Classic on Monday, October 5, 2026. Organized by Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Bergen County, the upcoming event serves as a critical fundraiser for the non-profit organization's advocacy programs for foster youth. This year's tournament will officially honor local figures Michael and Toni Ann Edwards.
The tournament raises funding directly for Bergen County CASA's operations. As the sole non-profit organization in the county mandated to recruit, train, and supervise volunteer advocates for youth in foster care, the organization ensures children navigating the court system have dedicated representation. These volunteers monitor the well-being of foster children, coordinate with state agencies, and advocate for individual educational, medical, and emotional needs in court.
Events at the private Alpine venue will include a full day on the course, beginning with registration and lunch, followed by an evening program for all registered guests.
